William Shatner's New Talk Show

William Shatner's new show, Aftermath (on the Biography Channel), is already making headlines.  Apparently, during an interview on Shatner's program, Lee Boyd Malvo, one of the two convicted D.C. Snipers, "confessed" that there were other co-conspirators in the sensational shooting spree who are still unapprehended.

Shatner has proven to be an excellent interviewer.  His previous talk show, Raw Nerve, featured quirky and insightful conversations with a number of fascinating guests, including rocker Gene Simmons, porn star Jenna Jameson, actors Tony Danza and Scott Baio, fellow Star Trek veteran Leonard Nimoy, consevative talk radio firebrand Rush Limbaugh, and many others.

Aftermath looks to be another intriguing endeavor as Shatner looks at "where are they now" figures like Subway Vigilante Bernard Goetz and former soldier Jessica Lynch who was wounded and captured in Iraq.  The show is described as "exclusive interviews with the key players behind the most notorious breaking news stories of the past."

Shatner continues to be a busy man -- starring in the eagerly awaited sitcom $#*! My Dad Says and directing the documentary The Captains that includes interviews with other stars from Star Trek series: Patrick Stewart, Avery Brooks, Kate Mulgrew, and Scott Bakula.

Aftermath is just one more example showcasing William Shatner as one of the greatest interviewers of our time.
