The Magic of Live Theater

Enthusiastic sold-out crowds made this past weekend's performances of our production of Neil Simon's Laughter on the 23rd Floor something to remember.  In a world saturated with a wide selection of media entertainment, it is great to see people get so much pleasure from the art of live theater.

From an actor's point of view, nothing beats hearing the laughter and applause of a packed house.  My fellow castmates were phenomenal -- full of creativity and amazing talent.  I really love working with them and I look forward to our final three performances.

There is nothing quite like losing yourself in a character on stage and feeding off the energy of a responsive audience.  This weekend was magic.

After this show wraps, I have no idea when I will have another chance to perform again, so I am treating this production as my last theatrical performance for a while -- with that in mind, I'm savoring every moment.  I am so grateful to everyone who has made this possible, especially my wife who has supported me through it all as I've indulged my passion yet again.  I will certainly cherish this experience for a long time.
