Batman Marathon on the Hub

I hope you're all enjoying your Memorial Day Weekend.  New York is experiencing some very nice summer-like weather, so there's no excuse not to go outside and enjoy it if you're able.  If you're wired from all that daytime fun, responsibly enjoying the freedoms so many gave their lives for us to have, and if you're looking for something to while away the nighttime hours until the sun rises again, the Hub TV network is having a marathon of the campy classic, Batman, on Monday from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m.

The 1960s television series starring Adam West as the Caped Crusader was great fun for the entire family and it still stands the all-important test of time.  Kids still view the Dynamic Duo's adventures completely seriously and adults appreciate all the intentional humor packed in every episode.

The Hub is a network by Discovery Communications and Hasbro, Inc., whose mission is to "bring kids and their families together to enjoy clever stories and engaging characters in new and classic comedies, animated adventures, movies, and live-action shows."  Batman totally captures the spirit of that mission.  A darker, more serious version of the Dark Knight may currently be in vogue, but there is still room for the lighthearted and still thrilling old television version.

Tune in and enjoy all the "bam-pow-zap" adventures of Batman, Robin, and Batgirl as they save Gotham City and the world from the dastardly deeds of the greatest line-up of supervillains ever created.  When those awesome cliffhangers arrive, you won't need to wait another day ("same bat-time, same bat-channel!") to find out what happens next -- just watch the back-to-back-to back-to-back-etc. episodes for 11 hours straight on the Hub during the Memorial Day marathon.
