More Friends Blogging

Back in July, I shared a list of blogs written by my friends.  Here are some more!

Blog Time Passing - One of my favorite university teachers, Lance Strate, discusses media, language, technology, communication, culture, and anything else that crosses his brilliant mind.

Fatherhood Matters - My grade-school friend John O'Leary writes about being a dad and raising four kids. It started out as a tribute to his son who is on the autism spectrum, but his topics range far beyond that, including his most recent reflection on living in Newtown, Connecticut, after this past weekend's tragic shooting. It's worth a read.

The Lextopia - Jesse Lex calls himself a "spiritual, communitarian geek," and that's why I like him.  His essays on culture, writing, and utopia are always thought-provoking.

Living with ALS - My friend Ed Bartosik, with whom I had the good fortune of acting on stage in Neil Simon's Laughter on the 23rd Floor, was recently diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease.  His strength in the face of adversity is a true inspiration for us all.

The Mind of Gina Lockhart - Share the thoughts and ruminations of a cool, creative producer and director from the West Coast. This is loaded with great advice for any aspiring filmmaker.

Must.Have.Wine - My buddy Leah Bellacera Speer has created one of the finest Mommy Blogs out there, full of humor and excellent content.

Paul Levinson's Infinite Regress - Paul Levinson has written a number of excellent science fiction novels as well as some terrific non-fiction books about media, but he is also a well-versed critic of pop culture and this specific blog offers recaps and analysis of some of the best shows on television.

There you have it, some of the best blogs out there, written by my friends. Go check them out!
