A Look at the New Shows Coming to ABC

ABC has announced its upcoming schedule.  Here's what to expect in terms of new shows.

Black-ish -- Anthony Anderson stars as the head of an African-American family living in the suburbs.

Cristela -- An unpaid intern at a law firm pursues her legal career while also dealing with her Mexican-American family.

Forever -- Ioan Gruffudd plays an immortal who works as a medical examiner in New York, trying to discover the secret of his longevity.

How to Get Away with Murder -- Viola Davis stars as a law instructor who has to solve a homicide with her students.

Manhattan Love Story -- This romantic comedy shares the thoughts of a new couple who has just begun dating.

Selfie -- A woman obsessed with online social media goes to a marketing guru to try to teach her how to connect with people in the real world.

Also in the works as mid-season replacements or summer premieres include:

American Crime -- Felicity Huffman and Timothy Hutton star in this gritty drama about an attack on a couple in their home that sends shockwaves across their community.

The Astronaut Wives Club -- This limited series based on the bestselling book follows the rise of military wives who become celebrities as their husbands join the space program.

Fresh Off the Boat -- Set in the 1990s, a 12-year-old boy moves with his family from D.C.'s Chinatown to Orlando, Florida.

Galavant -- Here's an off-the-wall premise: a musical, comedy, fairytale epic.

Marvel's Agent Carter -- This spin-off of Captain America is set in 1946.

The Quest -- Find out what happens when reality television meets epic fantasy.

Secrets and Lies -- Ryan Phillippe stars as a Good Samaritan who becomes a murder suspect.

The Whispers -- Aliens invade Earth through children.
