A Look at the New Shows Coming to NBC

It's that time of year again when the television networks introduce their new programming to advertisers. Here's what we can expect in the new TV season from NBC, which is starting to turn its fortunes around.

A to Z -- Follow the romance between Andrew and Zelda, played respectively by Ben Feldman and Cristin Milioti.

Bad Judge -- Kate Walsh plays an unorthodox criminal court judge who leads a wild private life.

Constantine -- Forget the Keanu Reeves adaptation, here's the version of the hit comic book Hellblazer that fans have been waiting for, starring Matt Ryan as the demon hunter.

Marry Me -- After being together for six years, Jake (played by Ken Marino) botches his marriage proposal to Annie (played by Casey Wilson), so they hold off their engagement until they can do it right.

The Mysteries of Laura -- Debra Messing is an NYPD homicide detective and mom of two unruly twin boys. Josh Lucas plays her estranged husband who is taking his time signing the divorce papers.

State Affairs -- Katherine Heigl stars as a C.I.A. analyst who assembles the Daily Briefing for the President of the United States, played by Alfre Woodard.

Mid-season replacements on the horizon include:

Allegiance -- A young C.I.A. analyst discovers that his parents are Russian spies.

Aquarius -- Set in the late 1960s, this buddy-cop series stars David Duchovny as a straight-laced L.A. Police Sergeant teamed up with a rebellious undercover cop who is more comfortable with the counter culture of the time.

Emerald City -- Here's another retelling of the Wizard of Oz story.

Mission Control -- Krysten Ritter stars as an aerospace engineers leading a team of NASA scientists in the 1960s.

Mr. Robinson -- An aspiring musician takes a day-job as a substitute teacher.

Odyssey -- The lives of a soldier, a corporate lawyer, and a political activist collide in the midst of an international conspiracy.

One Big Happy -- Elisha Cuthbert, Nick Zano, and Kelly Brook star as a trio in an unconventional family dynamic.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt -- After spending 15 years in a cult, a young woman becomes a nanny in New York City.
