Still More of the Best Webcomics

Back in 2009 and then in 2011, two of my most popular blog posts were "The Best Webcomics" and "More of the Best Webcomics."  (Go there for links to Xkcd, Penny Arcade, Diesel Sweeties, PvP, Dinosaur Comics, Cyanide and Happiness, The Joy of Tech, and more.)  Here's the long-awaited threequel.

Achewood -- Terrific, absurdist writing makes Chris Onstad's long-running story about pets, stuffed toys, and robots so addictive. This deserves to be an animated series!

Ctrl+Alt+Del (CAD) -- Created by Tim Buckley, the "adventures" of video-game addict Ethan and his roommate Lucas have delighted fans for years.  I especially enjoy the "Sillies" strip.

Garfield Minus Garfield -- Approved by Jim Davis, who created the original Garfield comic strip, this existential series erases the cat. It's a surprisingly fascinating concept, made popular by Dan Walsh.

Girl Genius -- This award-winning series by Phil and Kaja Foglio is a steampunk fantasy that has attracted legions of fans, and deservedly so.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal -- This online comic by Zach Weinersmith never fails to make me laugh.

So many other great ones are out there.  I promise not to wait an additional five years for part four of this roundup series.
