CBS Fall TV Preview 2015

I confess that the CBS lineup of new shows seems to have the most potential for high entertainment value.  We shall see.

New Shows Coming to CBS in Fall 2015

Angel from Hell
Jane Lynch stars as someone claiming to be a looney guardian angel.

Code Black
Marcia Gay Harden leads an ensemble cast in a busy Emergency Room.

Life in Pieces
Dianne Wiest, James Brolin, and Colin Hanks star in a comedy told from the viewpoints of different family members.

Based on the movie (and star Bradley Cooper will have a recurring role), a man discovers the power of a mysterious new drug and is coerced to use his abilities to solve cases for the F.B.I.

CBS jumps into the superhero game. Melissa Benoist is the new live action version of Superman's cousin.  Calista Flockhart co-stars.

New Shows Coming to CBS Midseason 2015/2016

Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders
Gary Sinise is no stranger to franchise spin-offs, having starred as Mac Taylor for C.S.I.: New York. Now he plays Jack Garrett in this Criminal Minds expansion, following the adventures of a division of the F.B.I. that helps American citizens facing danger abroad.

Rush Hour
The popular buddy cop comedy movie series earns a television adaptation.  The premise is the same: a by-the-book Hong Kong police officer is assigned to a case in Los Angeles with a cocky LAPD officer.

One more network to go tomorrow to wrap up the Upfronts Market for 2015.
