Movies in May 2015

Up until now I've been posting my movie previews on a bi-monthly basis, but now May is here and the floodgates have opened with the lucrative summer movie season ahead of us. Enough films are being released to merit a month on its own. Let's see if that will continue into June and beyond.

WEEK-BY-WEEK MOVIE PICKS FOR MAY 2015

Avengers: Age of Ultron (May 1)
Can this superhero mega-sequel top the enormous success of the original?  Marvel Entertainment continues to strike gold.

Hot Pursuit (May 8)
Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon star in this odd-couple comedy as an outgoing wife of a drug boss and a by-the-book police officer.

Mad Max: Fury Road (May 15)
George Miller brings his Road Warrior franchise back, this time with Tom Hardy in the titular role.

Tomorrowland (May 22)
George Clooney stars in this Brad Bird directed science fiction adventure.

San Andreas (May 29)
I don't know if the world is ready for another popcorn flick glorifying major earthquake mayhem, but "The Rock" plays the lead in this one, just in case there's a few million bucks to be made.
