NBC Fall TV Preview 2015

The broadcast television networks are announcing their new shows at the annual Upfront Market and hope springs eternal that hits are on the horizon.  NBC is first, bringing us shows headlined by stars like Neil Patrick Harris, Rob Lowe, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lopez, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Jaime Alexander, Patrick Warburton, and America Ferrera. We will also see the return of Heroes, Coach, and actor Wesley Snipes! There's also another spinoff of the network's Chicago first-responder franchise.

New Shows Coming to NBC in Fall 2015

Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris
The ultra-talented Harris headlines his own primetime variety show. If anyone can revive the genre, it's him.

Here's a far-out concept-- Jaime Alexander, who played the Asgardian Sif in Marvel's Thor movies and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series, stars as a mysterious woman with amnesia whose body is covered in tattoos, each of them offering a clue for a crime that's been committed.

Melissa George plays a heart-transplant surgeon.

Heroes Reborn
NBC takes a gamble and revives Heroes, which had a phenomenal first season and then fizzled. Can it recapture that original magic?

People Are Talking
Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Tone Bell star in a sitcom about two diverse couples.

The Player
Wesley Snipes is back! Here he plays a security expert in Las Vegas.

New Shows Coming to NBC Midseason 2015/2016

Chicago Med
Oliver Platt stars in this spin-off of Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D.

Of all the past sitcoms worth reviving, I don't know if there was much demand for this one, but Craig T. Nelson is back Hayden Fox, so we'll see how it goes.

Patrick Warburton deserves to headline his own sitcom, this one about parents who welcome back their two grown daughters to live with them.

Game of Silence
An attorney and his friends try to make amends for a dark secret from their past.

Hot and Bothered
Eva Longoria plays the star of a popular telenovela.

Shades of Blue
Jennifer Lopez plays an undercover anti-corruption cop. Ray Liotta also stars.  Lopez also produces the series with, of all people, Ryan Seacrest.

America Ferrera leads a cast of characters working at a mega-store.

You, Me, and the End of the World
A comet is on a collision course with Earth. Doomsday is imminent.  Comedy ensues.  (Starring Rob Lowe.)

What do you think? Anything here that will make you tune in to the peacock network?
